Tournament rules
Before the tournament, each player selects three characters and sets their order. The selected characters and order cannot be changed during the tournament. Each character matchup is one Street Fighter II: Champion Edition game. The character who wins two rounds wins the game; if the score is 1-1, a third round is played. The winning character continues with their remaining health against the opponent’s next character. The team battle ends when all three characters of one player are eliminated. The league stage can be set by the administration to 2, 3, 4 or 5 rounds. Team results are recorded as 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2. In a 3-0 or 3-1 win, the winner receives 2 points and the loser 0; in a 3-2 win, the winner receives 2 points and the loser 1. Normal score difference is used after points. The top eight players advance to the quarter-finals, followed by the semi-finals and final.
